Tear Mender is the natural latex, non-toxic adhesive that bonds permanently.
Tear Mender is ready to use on virtually any porous fabric and will not wash out.
For finer or thinner fabric, the Fine Touch System and its Capplicator wheel are recommended.
The finger transfer application works best for denim and similar weight fabrics up through canvas and leather. The Touch Cup - part of the Fine Touch System - is a practical and convenient tool for these applications.
On Cotton and Blended Fabrics:
Starts to set in 3 minutes and is functional in 30 minutes.
On Leather:
It bonds to the open fiber - underside -, setting up in 30 minutes and functional in 1 hour.
On Acrylic and Synthetic Materials:
It sets in 15 minutes and becomes functional in 1 hour.

Instructions
Directions for Touch Cup/Finger Transfer - A blade or butter knife works well too!:
Squeeze a small amount of Tear Mender into the Touch Cup provided. Transfer Tear Mender from the Touch Cup to item with your finger or a butter knife blade.
Patching:
Cut patch material to size needed.
Apply Tear Mender - using method described at top - onto item and to patch.
Place patch onto coated area of item.
Press firmly in place, let dry 15-30 minutes.
Quick Hems:
On clothing and other items, transfer a thin amount of Tear Mender onto hem-side only. Close hem and press firmly together with finger.
Bonding - Joining - Fabrics:
Mark area to be bonded. Spread Tear Mender onto both surfaces. Press firmly and let dry.
Directions for Capplicator Dispenser:
The Capplicator wheel dispenses a thin, metered amount of Tear Mender onto fine or thin fabric. Pour a small amount of Tear Mender into the reservoir and close with lid. Invert - wheel down; turn wheel with finger until coated portion is visible; press onto fabric and roll slowly and steadily across fabric. Hem is completed by folding fabric over and pressing with finger for a few seconds. Similarly, two separate pieces of fabric can also be bonded together in this manner.
