| GlobalSat BT-355 Blutooth GPS receiver is a dual function device, operating both as wireless GPS receiver and a recording data logger. The BT-355 utilizes the same popular electronic design as the BT-338 GPS receiver, which sets the original benchmark standards for all SIRF III GPS receivers, but has been upgraded with 16MB of internal memory. The BT-355 now has the ability to record up to 60,000 waypoints as you travel in conjunction to supplying NMEA navigation data to any host device such as a Smartphone, PDA, laptop or Tablet PC that is running your favorite navigation software. With the data logger feature, the details of saved route and trips can be extracted via Bluetooth and saved in to various file formats including, CSV, TXT, RMC, GPX and KML. To view your route files, simply upload data using the included utility program to one of many popular free web-sites such as Google Earth. This dual featured unit eliminates the need to purchase two separate devices, a GPS receiver for GPS navigation and one for recording GPS waypoints.
